Kathmandu City

Kathmandu, the Nepal's capital city, is a place where two great civilizations, Hinduism and Buddhism, confluence since centuries. For every proud resident, the city wholeheartedly offers an unfathomable feeling of belonging of its affluent antique cultural and religious heritage.

I like my city because it is a land of enlightened Yogis. This is a place where region, culture, music and humanity are fabricated together in order to make peoples' daily cores. It has become a center of attraction for both the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims, and thousands of tourists from all across the world every year.

In recent years, Kathmandu has doubled its population due to internal migration. Now, the city has become a common home for over four million people. The population pressure still continues. And, to preserve its heritage and historic values, a massive urban management planning are required. Indeed, I love my city and its spiritual tranquility forever.

Essay on lalitpur

While my city is appealing to me in different ways, there are some points that I'm not so satisfied with.

It’s a great city when it comes to cultural heritage, language, food  and natural beauty. Historical monuments and Stupas are the attraction of my city. It is so beautiful and artistic that thousands of tourists come to this place every year from every continent of the world. It is a city of many languages. Even in one small area you can find  people communicating in many languages. Sometimes, I got  lost when my friends start to speak in their mother tongue. I enjoy this unique diversity. Likewise, the city is surrounded by high greenery mountains
.
Nowsa day, the city is getting dirty due to high migration from other parts of the country. If this situation is not controlled in time with proper city planning, Lalitpur is going to be the most unplanned city of the world. Likewise, roads getting narrower and narrower day by day. Similarly, the temperature is increasing than normal in every summer. These are the dark side of my city

Though there are some changes with the increasing population, I am hoping for the systematic planning of the city in the coming days to come.

Loadshedding In Nepal

Load-shedding is the most hot topic in the current situation of Nepal.Load shedding creates many social as well as economic problems.Socially it disrupt the way of living of the people to the most extent. For instance
students have to study in candle light or other types of lighting items.Likewise students couldn't get a chance to use electronic equipment such as computer as it the most essential means of education.Similarly there are many others problems created by load shedding. At the other extreme load shedding increases the cost of production  of goods and services. As as result the domestic price of the goods increases which results in inflation in the country.Similarly the domestic product couldn't compete in the international market as the price of the product becomes expensive than the foreign product. Thus country loses the competence in the international market.
